Abstract

This study aims to examine the development of film artifacts at Gamplong Nature Studio as a basis for creative tourism that incorporates Islamic entrepreneurship principles. This study focuses on understanding film artifacts as not only props used for film production, but also as cultural resources that have creative economic value and educational potential related to the film industry. This study also examines the possibility of developing film-based tourism. In addition, this study aims to create a model for utilizing film artifacts as learning tools, promotional tools, and marketing strategies for film tourism destinations. Furthermore, this study also investigates how Islamic entrepreneurship principles, which include business ethics, justice, sustainability, and community empowerment, are applied in film tourism destination management. To achieve these objectives, this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach that utilizes source and time triangulation techniques through documentation, field observations, and in-depth interviews. The results show that film artifacts at Gamplong Nature Studio have educational and economic value. By combining media design and visual communication, the image of Gamplong Nature Studio as a film tourism destination and a center for creative economy development has been proven strong. Islamic entrepreneurship principles are evident in the practice of collaborative leadership, courage to take measured risks, orientation towards future planning, and the implementation of Islamic social entrepreneurship and CSR. The implemented management model also impacts local MSMEs, creates jobs, and sustains tourist destinations. Overall, the results of this study provide conceptual and empirical contributions to the advancement of film-based creative tourism in Indonesia, centered on Islamic entrepreneurial values.
